One of the things I’m most grateful for on my path to spiritual awakening is Wayne Dyer’s help in learning to believe and then see. And no, I don’t have it backwards. Many of us were raised with the expression that, “when you see it, you believe it.” But we had it backwards. It’s definitely “if you believe it, you will see it.”

Another way to think of this is that we can manifest our intentions, meaning that what we focus on and put our minds to, we can manifest into form. Sort of that “mind over matter” thing but on a whole new and very exciting quantum physics level.

Let me give you a few personal examples:

•I did my first abundance affirmation, clearly stating my intentions to live in abundance and not scarcity in February 2015, and at that time, I asked for signs from the Universe that it was working. For the first three days immediately following my affirmations, I found money in the parking lot of our apartment complex. We’d lived here five months by that time and had never found so much as a penny. Prior to that, we hardly ever found money on the ground, anywhere. Ever since then though, as I continue to understand and work with abundance, my DH (Darling Husband) and I both find money everywhere we go, sometimes in very strange places. Lol! We started a small bowl in our house for what we find, and several times now we’ve had to empty it into a bigger jar.

•My DH was determined to find a new barber, and for some reason (we still haven’t figured that out), he was set on paying $16 for his haircut. We pulled into a plaza to go to lunch at a new vegan restaurant we were wanting to try, and a couple of doors down was a barber from Europe who’d been in business here in the States for over 45 years. He charged my sweet DH exactly $16 for his haircut. And yes…we both had chills when he said, “that will be $16, please.”

•We were supposed to have company one Thursday and my DH wasn’t feeling well. Both of us were really hoping that for some reason we could free up the day and rest. That morning, we got a call that our company would not be coming because their dog had eaten a roll of Tums and they wanted to make sure she was okay. We were grateful for the day of rest and even more grateful that the dog was going to be fine. We also learned a big lesson. We have to be very careful and mindful of our intentions. We must clarify our instructions to the Universe so that no other beings come to harm for the manifesting of our intentions.

•We were waiting for the valet at the hospital to bring up our Jeep, and my DH jokingly told him that we’d take a Jaguar instead. Immediately, not one, but two Jaguars came around the corner and parked right in front of us. The valet looked at us with an expression of “whoa...how’d you do that?!”

Pretty amazing, right?
